There are SO many stamps out there proclaiming that anime is not the best thing ever and everyone who goes around saying "That is so kawaii!" should just die.
Well, I know the people you're talking about--the anime rules and if you hate it you should die type--and truth be told they can be pretty annoying.
But the thing is, not all anime fans are like that.
I like anime a whole lot, and never in my life have I posted a comment on someone's deviation saying simply, "OMG, desu kawaii!"
I really would love to learn the Japanese language, but I don't go around throwing it into my speech because I can. And even if I did, that doesn't make me some kind of freak.
I think anime is awesome, and I respect those who like it and those who don't. I do not respect the you-should-die-if-you-like-anime types of people, or the you-should-die-since-you-DON'T-like-anime types. Everyone has different opinions.
If you really want to go around saying everything is kawaii and a certain character is yours and yours alone, okay, that's your choice. But not everyone who likes anime is like that.
